The position

We are looking for a Structures S Licensed Technician to be responsible for performing a full range of aircraft sheet metal duties including disassemble, modify, repair, and reassemble complex aircraft metal items. Other key responsibilities include :

• Repair, fabrication or modification of airframe structures as assigned in accordance with approved technical instructions.
• As a member of the team, work to achieve quality, cost and time commitments.
• Assist in mentoring Apprentice Technicians.
• Perform initial inspection of aircraft upon receipt into heavy maintenance within scope of Transport Canada S License.
• Perform maintenance release of completed task and address any identified discrepancies.
• Perform inspections, use SRM / drawings to determine serviceability of part / structure.
• Map damage out of limits and send assessment to engineering for validation.
• Actively participate in the organization’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting safety hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understands and promotes the company safety policy.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
