Product Marketing Manager role with veritree, a growing B2B SAAS company headquartered in Vancouver. Lots of opportunity to collaborate, build, create, innovate, and develop. veritree is an award-winning climate tech start-up based in Vancouver, Canada. Launched in 2021, veritree’s technology measures and verifies the impact of global restoration efforts from the ground up. veritree is on a mission to plant 1 billion verified trees by 2030, collaborating with businesses, planting organizations, and consumers who believe in the transformative power of verified restoration projects to create real and meaningful impact for the planet, nature, and people.
veritree is at “mature start-up” phase and is hiring for top talent to help them develop to the next step in the company’s journey. Recurring revenue SAAS model with multi-year contracts. The company has won various awards/accolades, is B-Corp certified, and is very values-based with a loyal and growing customer base.

What- the Role:

On behalf of veritree, Swim Recruiting is conducting the recruitment for a well-rounded Product Marketing Manager (B2B SAAS) who will help contribute to the company’s growth trajectory.

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for product releases and planting project launches.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform product positioning and messaging.
  • Collaborate with the Product Team to understand product capabilities and translate them into compelling marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with Planting Partners and Operations to understand project opportunities, updates and outcomes, and translate them into compelling marketing materials.
  • Build content and train the sales team on messaging around new solutions, releases and projects.
  • Create and optimise marketing content, including case studies, webinars, and blog posts, to drive lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Work with the broader Marketing Team to develop and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive product awareness and adoption.
  • Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data to drive continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Work closely with the Revenue Team to develop sales enablement materials, such as presentations, product demos, and FAQs.
  • Research, build, and iterate approaches to the pricing of veritree’s various platform offerings for planting partners, resellers, and corporate partners.

veritree already has excellent marketing processes, KPIs, metrics, data collection methods, and systems in place, but the growing marketing team has plenty of opportunity to expand, improve, and innovate in the years to come- veritree already has solid, healthy roots and still has a lot of growing and flourishing to do! Who- the Candidate:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Product Marketing Manager with a strong background in go-to-market strategy, positioning, and product marketing to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for clearly articulating veritree’s differentiated value proposition in the nature tech space, helping internal teams and external partners understand not just what we do—but why it matters. You’ll lead the charge on launching new products, features, and planting projects, conducting market research, and collaborating closely with product, sales, and customer success to drive adoption and engagement.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of product marketing experience in the technology sector, preferably for a similar B2B SaaS company. Qualified folks for this role will have the proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including sales enablement. Proficiency with marketing automation tools and CRM systems such as HubSpot is required, as well as excellent analytical skills and a data-driven approach to product marketing. On behalf of veritree, Swim is looking for people who have experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing campaigns from concept to completion and who can measure marketing performance in various channels.

Ideally candidates will have worked with past/current employers during significant periods of change and growth- i.e. exponential increase in revenues, marketing for a company doing a new product roll-out or expanding into a new country, or strategically exploring an entirely new customer vertical.
The work experience and skills are of course important, but even more crucial are the soft skills! Some personality adjectives that come to mind to describe veritree’s ideal Product Marketing Manager include… entrepreneurial, innovative, self-motivated, communicative, collaborative, humble yet confident, flexible, open-minded, excellent listener, passionate, ethical, values-based, fun-loving, and friendly. The new Product Marketing Manager will be someone who is pumped to work with a bunch of folks who also embody the aforementioned character traits!

How Much:

Let’s talk turkey! Base salary will be commensurate with work experience and qualifications, likely in the range of $114,000 to $126,000, with flexibility to higher. The Product Marketing Manager will also be eligible for a bonus program. In addition, the Director of Marketing will receive a competitive health benefits plan, a generous amount of paid time off (and some work remote flexibility), an L&D budget, etc.

HYBRID. veritree is headquartered in East Vancouver in the vibrant Commercial Drive neighbourhood close to restaurants, shopping, arts & culture venues, and other amenities.
