Java Full-Stack Developer (Capital Markets) — Montréal, QC (Hybrid, Day-1 Onsite)

Northwest Talent Solutions is partnering with a large, globally recognized financial services organization to hire a Java Full-Stack Developer supporting trading and capital markets technology platforms.

This is a hands-on engineering role working on modernizing and building high-volume transactional systems used by investment banking teams.

What You'll Do :

Design and develop scalable applications using Core Java and Spring Boot microservices

Build and maintain modern UI components using Angular / JavaScript / HTML

Work directly with QA and product teams to deliver high-quality releases

Perform code reviews and debugging in real production environments

Analyze business problems and translate them into technical solutions

Support and enhance systems handling trading and capital markets workflows

Work with Linux-based deployments and relational databases

Required Technical Skills :

Core Java development experience

Spring Boot & Microservices architecture

Angular (front-end development)

SQL / relational databases (Oracle or similar)

Debugging and production support experience

Preferred Experience :

Capital markets or investment banking systems

Derivatives, trading, or transaction processing platforms

PL / SQL

J2EE frameworks

Linux environments

Collaboration with QA and release teams

Qualifications :

7–10+ years of professional software development experience

Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or related)

Strong communication and problem-solving ability

Ability to work onsite in Montréal (hybrid schedule : ~3 days / week office)

Compensation & Benefits

Salary : $75,000 – $80,000 USD equivalent
