Job Description

Position Summary :

As Activity Director you have the opportunity to plan, organize, and lead engaging programs and events that promote social interaction, physical activity, and mental stimulation for our Residents. You would tailor activities to meet the interests and abilities of the Residents, helping enhance their overall quality of life.

This is a maternity leave coverage position ending in April 2027 .

Key Responsibilities Include :

• Responsible for planning, preparation, delivery and evaluations of full programming schedule geared for seniors
• Independently completing departmental administrative duties
• Supervising volunteers and co-op students
• Ongoing event planning & execution
• Providing high standard of customer service to Residents and family members
• Assessing, relationship building and engaging residents in meaningful recreational activities
• Strongly support marketing and sales initiatives
