Applications are invited for a bus driver

The Bus Driver is a member of the school team whose primary responsibility is to transport students of various ages to and from their homes in a safe manner. The individual is responsible for following established routes and ensuring the established schedule is followed so students arrive safely at their destination on time.

Qualifications :

• Class 2 Driver’s licence
• Knowledgeable about BC Legislation regarding the laws and regulations that apply to the operation of commercial vehicles such as : The Highway Traffic Act, Motor Vehicle Act Regulations, and National Safety Code;
• Minimum 2 years safe driving experience
• Clean driver’s abstract
• First Aid certificate an asset
• Ability to remain attentive when faced with distractions
