About Grandview Kids
Grandview Kids provides an array of specialized programs, rehabilitation services, and outpatient clinical treatments to children and youth with physical, communication, and developmental needs. Programs and services – which are delivered at the Centre, in the community, at schools, and in-home – include: medical consultation, assessment, and diagnosis; audiology, autism support; complex care program; occupational therapy; physiotherapy; respite services; social work; speech-language pathology; therapeutic recreation; and family engagement. Grandview Kids actively participates in research to support innovation in rehabilitation science, to advance organizational capabilities, and to better serve caregivers and the developmental needs of their children and adolescents. Caretaker (Contract Part - Time) – 2 Positions

We are excited to be accepting applications for the position of Caretaker. The candidate is responsible for carrying out all maintenance, janitorial and cleaning duties in accordance with prescribed methods and work schedules, as assigned by the Building Services Manager, maintains a safe work environment; maintains building security; performs minor maintenance in the Centre; assists with maintenance of the exterior of the building and grounds; acts as the designate in the absence of other caretaker staff with respect to cleaning of the buildings in the Centre and satellite offices; supports departmental/Centre efforts in Quality Improvement Program (QIP) activities as required; participates in education, orientation and public relations as required; performs other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications
The hours for this position may vary and are scheduled to be 18.75 hours per week. Schedules may vary based on department needs. There\'s a possibility for extra hours if mutually agreed with your manager, and this may involve working weekends if needed.
The perfect fit for this role needs to be a great communicator and excellent at managing their time. They should be comfortable working independently and ready to take the lead when necessary. Being flexible is a must and you must possess a valid Ontario driver’s license, insurance, and access to a vehicle, or have efficient and reliable transportation to travel between Grandview Kids locations and other sites as needed. You should also be available to work evenings and weekends as the job requires, including past your typical schedule.
