Responsibilities
Consider water saturation, light and temperature when planning for crop growth and development.Cut agricultural crops.Develop specific plans to prioritize work.Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non‑marketable lots.Greenhouse cleaning.Implement soil fertility programs.Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes.Organize tasks to accomplish work.Oversee the activities of clearing the fields and perform hoeing.Train trees to produce higher quality fruit.Weeding and work with honey bees.Assist in developing and implementing farm safety and bio‑security procedures.Maintain financial, production and quality control records.Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting.Coordinate and supervise general farm workers and harvesting labourers.Perform general farm duties and routine maintenance.Organize inventories using computerized inventory control systems.Organize planting, cultivating and crop harvesting activities.Supervision
