The Opportunity

Wereseeking a ProjectAdministratorwith a background in commercial and / or residential constructionwhosready to grow with a communitydriven general contractor. With a collaborative team, diverse project opportunities, and strong mentorship,youllhelp deliver quality projects and a great client experience across the Fraser Valley.

As a ProjectAdministrator,youllberesponsible for processing purchase orders, change orders, tracking RFIs (Request for Information) and SIs (Site Instructions), preparing reports, processing invoices, and facilitatingcommunication across the project team. You will liaise with the project manager, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to the specified quality standards.

Werehiring for a full-time, temporary role based in Chilliwack, BC, expected to run for approximately 12 months with the potential for extension!

Your Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Estimator and Project Manager as needed, reducing their time spent on task work.
• Support project start-up by entering contracts and budgets into accounting, project management, safety, and time tracking software, and handlingWorkSafeBCnotices and BC One Call submissions.
• Create andmonitorpurchase orders and subcontracts.
• Process and manage RFIs, SIs, and change orders.
• Oversee shop drawings and submittals.
• Attend project meetings, take minutes, and distribute action items.
• Code and approveaccountspayable invoices,identifyingand resolving issues as they arise.
• Support accounts receivable invoicing and review.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency of project data across multiple software platforms.
• Monitor vendor compliance.
• Track project deficiencies toresolution.
• Manage job close-out activities including manuals, as-built drawings, subcontract reconciliations, and warranties.
• Perform other relatedtasks asassigned by management.
