Job Overview
- Perform Design Engineering work as per the Engineering Change Control process at Ontario Power Generation.
- This includes but is not limited to : Preparation and Verification of Engineering documents, drawings, etc;
- preparation of Calculations and Technical specifications to support component replacements via modifications.
- Work with various stakeholders such as other Station and Design Engineering teams, Operations, Supply Chain, Maintenance and Vendors / Manufacturers.
Qualifications :
Licensed PEO Engineer with 5+ years of related Engineering ExperienceDegree in Electrical Engineering with focus on Process Instrumentation and Control (preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in working with Valve accessories) / Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineer with experience in working with Valve accessories (ex : actuators) and limit switches / positionersStrong Verbal and written communication skills are desired as a lot of decision making involves working with various stakeholders Familiarity with Microsoft tools such as Word, Outlook, Excel as well as Adobe Acrobat is required.Ontario Driver's license and access to a vehicle is required.Our client is dedicated to promoting employment equity and encourages applications from equity-seeking communities including but not limited to : Indigenous Peoples, racialized individuals, persons with disabilities, and women.
