Job Overview: We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to support our growing activity. This role is responsible for managing core accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards while contributing to the organization’s financial strength.

Duties

• Manage and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using accounting software such as Odoo; IFS skills are a plus.
• Perform detailed account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely payments in accordance with company policies.
• Analyze accounts for discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and ledger maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial services projects, including budgeting and account analysis.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating between Kinell in Canada and the Corporate Centre in France for accounting and administrative issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Odoo, IFS, and other relevant tools.
• Excellent team player, organized, proactive, open-minded, service-oriented and reliable.
• Familiarity with payroll management and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• English is essential; Spanish and/or French is a bonus.
• Flexibility as a prerequisite within a small team with an exciting challenge.

This position requires an initial period of on-site training, followed by a remote work arrangement.
