Overview

Acuren is currently looking for two Finance Administrators to join us in a full-time capacity, to support operations on our client sites in Richmond, BC and Sparwood, BC. This is a full-time role with opportunities for personal growth and continuous learning.

Position Details : Full-Time Position; Monday–Friday, 8 hrs per day (40 hrs / week); Hourly / Salary range : CA$30.00–$34.00 / hour. One position is based at our Richmond, BC office and another at our Sparwood, BC office. Candidates must be local to these areas to be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Daily / weekly review of all data entry to ensure accuracy and completeness for payroll and billing
  • Compile information needed for invoicing (client signatures, work order numbers, PO numbers)
  • Input billing data into client systems as required; reconcile back to internal systems
  • Close out and opening of POs with the client; track costs by PO
  • Contractual reporting (daily costing, force reports, safety stats, etc.)
  • Obtain contractual approvals prior to commencement of work (e.g., overtime pre-approvals, work order acceptance forms)
  • Understand all contractual billing requirements
  • Coordinate basic logistics for employees to and from work site
  • Coordinate and process Accounts Payable
  • Additional tasks as requested by operations

Requirements

Experience & Technical Skills

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience with invoicing, payroll, and time & attendance; experience on a client site or providing remote support
  • Experience in accurate processing within a high-volume environment
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data organization, spreadsheet management)
  • Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook with general knowledge of accounting systems
  • Time entry and data entry skills with high accuracy
  • Working knowledge of client computer systems is an asset
  • Experience in an industrial environment is an asset
  • Education & Communication

  • Business or Office Administration Certificate, Diploma, or Degree is considered an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Superior English proficiency is required; French proficiency is an asset

  • Ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
