This full time Occupational Health and IPAC Lead , is a Registered Nurse who will provide clinical occupational health services, lead the IPAC program, support outbreak management and surveillance, and ensure compliance with Ontario legislation and accreditation standards across our Hospital and Long Term Care environments..
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain the organization’s IPAC Program across Hospital and Long-Term Care settings
- Conduct employee health assessments, immunizations, and occupational exposure management
- Manage infection surveillance, outbreak response, and regulatory reporting
- Support workplace health and safety programs in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Coordinate WSIB case management and return-to-work processes
- Educate and support staff on IPAC practices, PPE use, and workplace safety
- Collaborate with internal teams, Public Health, and external healthcare partners
Qualifications
Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of OntarioCompletion of a recognized Infection Prevention & Control (IPAC) courseCertification in Infection Control (LTC-CIP or CIC) requiredOccupational Health Nursing experience and / or DOHN or COHN-C certificationMinimum two (2) years of relevant clinical experienceCurrent CPR and First Aid certificationStrong leadership, communication, and education skillsBilingualism (English / French) is an asset.Our Mission
