Electrician - Journeyperson or 4th Year Apprentice

Are you an Electrician, Journeyperson or a 4th Year Electrician Apprentice who enjoys solving puzzles, tracing problems, and creating solutions? This position will provide electrical support and expertise to some of the largest mobile mining equipment in the world. You will employ logic and deductive reasoning in diagnosing and troubleshooting. SMS Equipment is looking for knowledgeable Journeyperson Electrician or 4th Year Electrician Apprentice to join our highly skilled team at our Elkford, BC branch .

Base Wage : $49.78 - $52.31 per hour. Additional premiums apply.

Location : Elkford, BC. Housing is available.

Schedule : 7x7 Rotation.

What You'll Do :

• Supporting both customers and other trades people in the resolution, component repair / rebuild, haul truck / shovel repair, and equipment assembly / repair issues in the effective troubleshooting of equipment.
• Installation of new parts and equipment in accordance with generally accepted industry standards, as well as site specific best practices.
• Performing component failure analysis to improve the operation of installed parts and equipment
