The Role :
The Professional Services Security Solutions delivery team is in Bell Business Markets, the division of Bell Canada that provides information and technology communications solutions to Canada's largest public and private sector organizations.
This Director role is responsible for the design, execution and implementation of security solutions. The continued growth and success of this professional services team in the marketplace is directly attributed to the expertise and the professionalism of its staff, the trust and confidence of its technology partners and the unrelenting demands it places on itself in pursuit of that most important determining attribute - Customer Satisfaction.
The successful candidate will have overall responsibilities for all aspects of the national Security practice ranging from team leadership, resource management, demand generation and overall growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the continued growth of the Bell's security professional services practice
- Shape, innovate, develop and / or improve Bell's Cyber Security professional services and solutions for client benefit & Bell's continued growth
- Oversight of customer delivery mandates to ensure high quality, on time deliverables and profitable outcomes; contribute to problem solve and lead by example where needed
- Analyze potential opportunities and further validate viability in terms of Bell's objectives and available resources to create client value, and enhance Bell's current position in the overall competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with the Product Management team to develop thought leadership, global capabilities, resources, and overall credentials to positively distinguish Bell from its competitors
- Ensure corporate objectives and business strategies are aligned and supported by our business plan, full P&L responsibility
- Provide industry insight, strategic direction, risk management and executive level perspective into clients' business needs and growth opportunities
- Oversight of a team of specialized Security consultants who provide customers with sophisticated and next-generation services
- Achieve cost effectiveness and profitability through the close management of all financials related to the management of this practice
Qualifications / Competencies :
- 8+ years of experience leading a strategic Security consulting practice, technical teams or professional services team while exhibiting success in continued growth
- 10+ years of directly related IT experience with at least 5 years of cyber security experience
- Experience engaging with clients at all levels to understand needs and present class leading solutions based on industry, market and Bell's services and capabilities.
- Familiarity with security systems, including but not limited to, network security, vulnerability and penetration assessments, threat risk assessments, identity solutions, audit and compliance solutions
- Record of accountability for developing winning proposals in a team and / or matrix environment
- Strong business acumen and experience shaping winning themes and costing models
- Experience leading high level requirements analysis and architecting complex technical solutions
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand project complexities and how components connect and relate to each other
- Experience managing financials and aggressive timelines (full P&L, budgets, timelines, project milestones) while mitigating risk
- Experience in driving process improvements in sizeable environments
- Proven track record of leading a large, diverse and geographically dispersed team and instilling in them a performance orientation, a sense of shared purpose and the collective skill sets needed to deliver stretch goals
- Knowledge of various network and security technologies including but not limited to : Intrusion Prevention / Detection, File Integrity Monitoring, SIEM, SOAR, XDR, Firewall, VPN, Securing Routers / Switch, Vulnerability Management, Patch Management, Log Management, End Point Security, Cloud Security services (across all three hyper-scalers), and Strong Authentication
