Job Duties:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of a licensed Out of School Care program ensuring a safe inclusive and engaging environment for children and youth

• Oversee staffing scheduling and supervision to maintain appropriate ratios and program coverage

• Ensure compliance with Community Care Licensing BGCCVI policies and core programming standards

• Support program planning and implementation including age-appropriate activities and individualized supports where required

• Supervise coach and support staff through onboarding training performance management and regular team meetings

• Build and maintain positive relationships with families schools and community partners

• Ensure accurate administrative records incident reporting attendance tracking and required documentation

• Collaborate with Finance and leadership on enrollment fee collection attendance reporting and budget awareness

• Oversee facility equipment and vehicle safety maintenance and cleanliness

• Participate in organizational initiatives meetings and special events as required

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in social sciences recreation or related field OR a combination of education and experience (minimum 20 hours child-related education)
• Valid First Aid/CPR certificate approved by Community Care Facilities Licensing
• Eligible for approval as a Licensed Manager through Community Care Licensing
  
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar child care or youth program environment (preferred)
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience (preferred)
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
