Position Overview

The Youth Program Coordinator, reporting to the Youth Programs Manager, is responsible for coordinating mentoring relationships for youth, as well as planning, organizing, and overseeing all youth‑related program activities. The Coordinator will maintain program documentation, ensure that key deadlines are met, and implement the mentorship and leadership goals of the program.

Responsibilities

• Engage with external organizations to expand and enhance the program’s reach and efficiency.
• Work closely with the Youth Programs Manager to deliver leadership activities including events, workshops, and trainings.
• Provide regular updates to the Youth Programs Manager on program progress.
• Coordinate mentorship activities, including recruitment, matching, supporting, and supervising mentor‑mentee relationships.
• Liaise with facilities and stakeholders to effectively deliver all program activities.
• Oversee group mentoring, events, data collection, and program evaluation.
• Orient and train volunteers ensuring clarity and understanding of program guidelines.
• Represent the program at community meetings and events.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for volunteers and participants.
• Collect qualitative and quantitative data for program evaluation and other purposes.
• Prepare program reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
