Transmission Engineer

MatchBox Consulting is seeking a Transmission Engineer to join our growing team following a long-term transmission project award. This role is open to both EITs and P.Eng. candidates with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be hands-on, contributing to design, package preparation, and transmission line pole replacements.

Key Requirements :

Proficiency in PLS-CADD (essential)

BC Hydro project experience (asset)

Experience with transmission line design and hands-on project work

Knowledge of PLS-Tower (bonus, not required)

EIT or P.Eng. credentials

Responsibilities :

Design and prepare construction packages for transmission line projects

Conduct pole replacement and other transmission line activities

Collaborate with engineering, field, and project teams to ensure project delivery

Review, analyze, and apply engineering standards and specifications
