Purpose of the Role :

You have a passion for financial reporting and accounting with a desire for learning the business within a manufacturing and R&D environment in an emerging industry. As the Accounting Co-op, you will be responsible for general accounting activities including performing calculations, reconciliations, journal entries and administrative tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

• You have successfully completed of introductory accounting course (100 or equivalent) and ideally the intermediate accounting course (200 or equivalent).
• You have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to understand numerical data.
• You have great written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• You have basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
