Elementary Class Teacher :

Founded in 2010, the Waldorf Independent School of Edmonton (WISE) is a solidly established and growing school that fosters an environment where the whole child (head, hands and heart) is nourished. The school is supported by a vibrant and caring group of teachers and parents, serving children from kindergarten to grade 9. The individual must be passionate about, and or interested in learning and implementing Waldorf pedagogy. In‑house mentoring is also provided. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education Degree
• Must have a current Alberta Teaching Certificate
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi‑task with confidence
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Creativity and independence in lesson planning skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience or interest in teaching music or art is an asset
• Waldorf knowledge and experience is preferred, however training is also available.
