Position Summary
The Office Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the operations, communications, and events of the Laurier Hub for Community Solutions. Reporting to the Director, this position provides administrative, communication, and creative support to ensure the smooth delivery of events and initiatives. The Office Assistant serves as a key point of contact for inquiries, contributes to effective internal and external communication, and helps bring The Hub’s initiatives to life through collaboration, organization, and design.

Hours of Work
This is a Part-time, Limited-term opportunity with an anticipated end date of May 31 2026.
The normal hours of work total 5 hours per Monday to Friday work week. Flexibility in hours may be required, including evening and / or weekend work due to periods of high volume. When possible, the manager will adjust hours to ensure no more than 5 hours are worked in a week.
This role offers limited flexibility regarding flexible work arrangements. Please see Policy 8.14 (Flexible Work Policy) for more information. All arrangement must be approved by the direct manager. On occasion, this schedule may need to be adjusted to meet operational requirements.”
