IT Project Manager (Compliance)
This open role with our client in the insurance industry offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on critical projects related to Legal, Compliance, Government, and Audit applications. What is in it for you :
- Salaried : $60 to $70 per hour.
- Incorporated Business Rate : $75 to $85 per hour.
- 12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
- Full-time position : 37.50 hours per week.
- Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
- Hybrid work : 3 office days, from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities :
Develop, track, and manage project budgets, plans, timelines, and scope.Oversee project resources, including staffing, coaching, and motivation.Collaborate with functional project teams to define business requirements.Lead development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.Define and oversee test plans to ensure products are defect-free before User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Facilitate the UAT process and coordinate rollout plans.Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses.Utilize systems development and project management processes to ensure successful project outcomes.Present project updates to steering committees or sponsors.What you will need to succeed :
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline.Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.5-7+ years of proven experience as an IT Project Manager.Proficiency in Agile methodologies.Extensive experience collaborating with multiple teams to deliver projects in Legal, Compliance, Government, and Audit contexts.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a collaborative approach.Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical concepts clearly.Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Adaptable and able to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.Why Recruit Action?
