Job Description
This role is for a Sales Associate at the CosmoProf Store located in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada. The position is an entry‑level, part‑time role within the Sales and Business Development function in the Retail industry.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Drive sales in the furniture, technology and supplies areas of the store.
- Set and achieve sales and margin goals with store leaders.
- Ensure operational excellence and uphold store brand standards.
- Support all merchandising and signage standards including planograms and stocking.
- Maintain Health & Safety, Asset Protection and Privacy policies.
- Engage with and sell to all customers by offering tailored products and services.
- Handle transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including shipping transactions and marketing tools to convert customers.
- Calmly de‑escalate and assist in complex customer situations to ensure concerns are addressed effectively or refer to a manager/supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe store environment by performing tasks like dusting, front‑facing products and ensuring demo units are clean and functional.
Qualifications
- 3 months to 1 year of prior retail experience (preferred).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
