Wood is recruiting for an Intermediate Electrical Designer for our Minerals & Metals (M&M) business focusing on supporting our global clients to deliver mining projects. This opportunity has the flexibility to be located at any of our Wood Canada Mining offices in Vancouver BC, Trail BC, Saskatoon SK or Burlington Ont.

The Role

Reporting to the Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Department Manager, and working alongside other team members locally and across the country, you will have the opportunity to provide design and technical support for the layout, design and specification of electrical systems for industrial plants and related infrastructure support for a wide variety of projects. This is a full time position.

• Competitive salary with regular salary reviews to ensure we are rewarding at the right level in line with the market. Salary range for this position is CAD $80,000 – 98,000 per year. Final salary will be based on relevant and applicable experience, education, and the specific skill set and qualifications required for the role.

Co-ordination of drawing packages for issue and prepare issue folders for electronic files.
