Job Summary

Work Location: Porcupine, Northern Ontario

Work Setting: Private Security Agency, Mine/Energy Site

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily functions of the security unit including access control, responding to calls for service, and report writing/note taking.


• Perform property inspections and enforcing property laws, client rules, and other regulations.


• Protect company assets.


• Complete patrols and Property Seal Review.


• Lookout Blast Duties.


• Complete tasks and assignments as directed by supervisor.


• Deterring and responding to incidents on property.


• Enforcing client and site rules and regulations.


• Work gatehouse location during manpower depletion.


• Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through positive teamwork.

Work Conditions

Outdoor and indoor work environments. Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Shift

Shift: 5-5-4 rotation (days or nights)

Wage

Wage: $20.00 - $22.00

Requirements

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License


• Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate


• Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License


• Valid Criminal Background Check (completed in the past 3 months)


• Strong communication and report-writing skills


• Ability to respond to emergencies and lead under pressure


• Customer service and conflict resolution experience


• Legally entitled to work in Canada


• Minimum of 18 years of age

Experience

Minimum 1–2 years of security experience, preferably in an industrial, mine, or energy environment.
