CMC's Human Resources team is growing, and we are looking for someone with a passion for talent acquisition. Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition and Development, the Senior Partner, Talent Acquisition will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the talent acquisition strategy through processes and best practices that will attract and recruit the required talent in the shortest possible time, in a competitive employment market, and deliver an excellent candidate experience.

As a Senior Partner, Talent Acquisition , your day-to-day responsibilities include :

  • Implement and deploy innovative talent attraction strategies aimed at attracting the best talent, both internally and externally;
  • Effectively manage the recruitment process : from candidate prospecting (sourcing) for a variety of key positions (managerial, professional and technical), to resume analysis, initial interviews and recommendations to the managers and HRAPs involved;
  • Master technological tools (ATS, Linkedin Recruiter, social networks, etc.) to proactively target and approach passive candidates;
  • Manage requisitions and support managers in defining their workforce needs, identifying skills for positions and selecting candidates;
  • As a Senior Partner, act as an advisor to teams, in addition to training them on best practices in talent acquisition;
  • Contribute to the development and promotion of the employer brand in collaboration with various internal stakeholders, and act as the company's ambassador during recruitment campaigns;
  • Implement and monitor monthly performance indicators related to recruitment and retention;
  • Develop partnerships and manage contacts with placement agencies and other strategic players for the recruitment of employees, new graduates and interns;
  • Respect the budget established annually for recruitment activities;
  • Participate in various projects related to talent attraction.

To join our team, you must hold :

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field (CHRP) ;
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in recruitment / talent acquisition and prospecting / sourcing;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and active listening skills;
  • Ability to create lasting business relationships with partners and candidates, and to build and maintain a good network;
  • Creativity in proposing innovative solutions to attract talent;
  • Organizational skills, business sense and an enthusiastic, proactive and positive attitude;
  • Ability to work independently, to identify and manage priorities, and to multi-task;
  • Capacity to drive change;
  • Initiative, rigor, discretion and professionalism;
  • Commitment to providing a high-quality candidate experience;
  • Experience in a unionized environment, an asset;
  • Bilingual (spoken and written);
  • Good knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office software (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
