Overview

We are currently looking for a Director of Data Analytics to join our team!

The Director of Data Analytics will drive data-led decision-making through data analytics, data mining, data visualization, data tools, and infrastructure. This role will be pivotal in providing insights that drive business performance and quality outcomes. The ideal candidate will transform data into actionable information strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business goals. They will work with key business leaders to identify, develop and deliver relevant data, reports and dashboards to support day-to-day, historical and future operations. This role is responsible for overseeing BI projects, guiding a team of analysts to ensure data alignment with organizational goals.

The Director of Data Analytics is also responsible for ensuring that all data processes adhere to CarePartners data governance framework, maintaining high standards of data quality, security, and compliance.

The Director of Data Analytics serves as a key member on CarePartners digital transformation committee, with a primary focus of ensuring the seamless collection and reporting of data among CarePartners core operational and financial systems (ERP and eHR). They will work collaboratively to carry out this complex work to manage, support, and integrate CarePartners systems.

What The Role Involves

Department and Operations

  • Develop and implement the data governance framework
  • Develop and execute a Business Intelligence and Analytics strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and supports a high level of data quality
  • Investigate and identify the most appropriate business intelligence and data visualization tool(s) for the organization.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making by training team members to understand and use data, assisting in the interpretation of analytics, and preparing executive reports to provide clear updates and insights
  • Lead data integration efforts across multiple platforms, including internal and external databases.
  • Contribute to a Master data management strategy with a focus on defining sources of record
  • Develop and manage processes to clean and transform raw data into organized datasets for detailed analysis and reporting.
  • Translate business requirements into data models that support self-service reporting, actionable insights, KPIs and data visualizations
  • Contribute to CarePartners data security and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Oversee the development of automated performance reports tailored to internal partners, such as executive leadership, operations, and finance teams.
  • Design and implement dynamic dashboards and data visualizations using business intelligence tools to provide real-time insights.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data strategies align with business objectives and overall Company strategy.
  • Implement and manage processes for ensuring data integrity, accuracy, consistency, and quality across all platforms.
  • Provide mentorship to analysts and team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • 5-8 years of experience in business analytics or data management, ideally within a home healthcare setting.
  • Experience with electronic health record systems, Procura and Alayacare would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of utilization and experience analyzing clinical data, with a focus on data quality.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions (Power Query, PivotTables, VBA).
  • Experience using and integrating business intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a diversified workload, multiple tasks concurrently, and meet multiple and competing deadlines in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Proficiency in BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake or QlikView
  • Advanced SQL skills for complex queries, data extraction, and data manipulation
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies
  • Expertise in data modeling and data architecture design.
  • Design and implement data models, data warehouses, and dashboards to support analytical needs.
  • Understanding of cloud data infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
  • Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics and statistical modeling
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and predictive modeling is a plus
