We are in search of a journeyman welder / welder fitter for a shop here within Calgary.

It is beneficial to have experience within structural welding, working on skids previously, prepare, cut assemble, fit, and weld steel to manufacture aggregate and mining equipment.

Day - Monday - Thursday

Fridays are optional overtime

Shift is 7 : 00am-5 : 30pm or 6 : 00am-4 : 30pm - 4 days at 10 hour shift

Pay is $36-$40 based on experience

Fulltime - Permanent position

Location is within Calgary easily accessible to the highway

Must be located within Calgary.

Layout, fit, prepare, and weld steel pieces to tight tolerances

Apply correct weld process

Read blueprints and schematics

Welding Mild steel GMAW, FCAW, SMAW,

Qualifications

Structural Welding is a asset

Experience with GMAW, FCAW, SMAW

Ability to pass a weld test

No CWB is not requirred
