Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Quoting Specialist located in Winkler, MB. The role involves analyzing project specifications, preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates and quotes, liaising with clients to understand requirements, and collaborating with various departments to finalize and present project quotations. Additional responsibilities include monitoring market trends in materials and labor costs to ensure competitive pricing and maintaining a high level of accuracy in all estimations.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for estimating project costs
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, architectural drawings, blueprints, and interpreting project specifications
• Experience with quoting projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and collaborate with internal teams
• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of materials, production processes, and industry standards in metal fabrication
• Experience in the agricultural, mining, or construction industries is considered an asset.
• Ability to work in an on-site environment with a focus to gain the understanding of what the customers specific requirements will be.
