Job Description

Our client is a boutique family law firm dedicated to helping clients navigate complex and sensitive legal matters with compassion and expertise. Specializing in family law, education law, and guardianship, the firm is renowned for its innovative and personalized approach. With over 20 years of combined experience, the team works collaboratively to provide tailored solutions, whether through alternative dispute resolution, mediation, or litigation. The firm is committed to empowering clients with creative strategies that prioritize their families' well-being.

  • Supporting the founding partner with daily administrative duties
  • Prepare and submit LawPro quarterly reports, manage subscriptions and software renewals, and oversee the firm’s file directory
  • Coordinate CLE requirements for lawyers, ensuring compliance and record keeping
  • Manage the personal calendar, scheduling, and document signing needs of our Founding Partner
  • Handle appointment scheduling and conflict checks for pro bono cases
  • Revise and update retainer agreements as required
  • Support the Founding Partner in preparing materials for presentations and conferences, including PowerPoint decks
  • Assist in onboarding and training new hires on firm protocols and systems

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative role preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, with a particular focus on PowerPoint, and comfortable learning new software and tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with exceptional attention to detail and time management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with diverse stakeholders
  • Resourceful and proactive in anticipating needs and resolving challenges
  • Collaborative and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced team-oriented environment

  • Requirements

  • 2+ years of previous coordinator or customer success experience.
  • Previous experience working in a B2B environment preferred.
  • Experience relevant to client processes and providing exceptional client experiences.
  • High level of business acumen and professionalism in dealing with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience within a legal environment is considered an asset.
  • Ability to adapt to and learn new applications quickly, demonstrating strong technology savvy.
  • Proven ability to challenge the norm and thrive in an innovative environment.
  • Comfortable working independently and in ambiguous situations.
  • Enjoys wearing multiple hats and taking on various responsibilities.
