The Opportunity

OpenText is looking for a strong candidate to be part of a diverse team responsible for the technical solution delivery of the legal applications including integration to other applications such as SuccessFactors and legacy systems from acquisitions.

This individual will report to the Director, IT- HR and Legal Systems and be able to effectively interact with the business partners, technical and operational resources.

This candidate will be an integral part of information systems development and integration for Open Text IT Enterprise Applications organization.

You Are Great At :

The Lead Systems Analyst will have the following responsibilities :

  • Lead the technical design of legal application solutions that impact cross-applications functionalities including but not limited to M&A, Patent Management, Legal Tracker, Legal Hold, and Legal CDA.
  • Participate and lead Blueprint and design workshops with Business and IT Leads. Act in a senior role to translate functional requirements to technical requirements and communicate to the process teams the technical capabilities of the selected solution.
  • Responsible for transitioning solutions from a project delivery to an operational model coordinating with the IT Ent Apps Operations Team Lead.
  • Evaluate new legal systems and coordinate with the Solution Architect to formulate detailed plans to add new systems to the existing core infrastructure.
  • Enforce enterprise IT policies, procedures, and compliance within the HR IT work structure.
  • Create and maintain supporting technical documents pertaining to platform and process.

What It Takes :

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant discipline
  • Minimum 8 years' experience working with business on application development, integration and support. Solid understanding of software development life cycle, change and release management processes. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests and manage laterally and upwards. Knowledge on the following technology is a must :
  • MS Visual Studio IIS .Net SQL database SSF certificates NAM certificates Nice to have : Webamin or TrainingRegistry
  • Strong skills, including analytical thinking, problem-solving, and superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
