Description de posteOperate a counterbalance forklift to move materials and pallets safely and efficiently Perform indoor and outdoor yard work in all weather conditions (rain, snow, ice, uneven terrain) Load and unload transport trucks Keep the yard organized, clean, and safe Complete daily forklift and equipment inspections Follow all health & safety policies and procedures Assist with general warehouse duties as required Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience Proven experience operating forklifts both indoors and outdoors on gravel, uneven, icy, or wet surfaces Strong awareness of safety and operational best practices Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Reliable, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic Good communication skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Someone looking for a long-term opportunity with growth potential

The Role
We are currently hiring a Forklift Operator to join a busy and growing manufacturing / distribution facility in Smithville . This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a mid-sized, team-oriented environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for safely moving materials and pallets in and out of the facility. You’ll be working on a straight afternoon shift , Monday to Thursday. Please note : This location is not accessible by public transit.
