Are you a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for accounting? We are seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to manage and control supplier invoices from third parties and inter-company invoices. As a self-starter, you will ensure full adherence to GAAP accounting practices and principles, leveraging your comprehensive knowledge of accounts payable. Responsibilities

  • Reconcile vendor accounts and prepare monthly supplier statement reports.
  • Assist in month-end ledger closing and account control.
  • Prepare payment proposals, enter payment data, and conduct EFT runs.
  • Handle online bill payments, cheque runs, and reconcile purchasing cards (AMEX Pcard).
  • Process high volume of invoices (100-150 invoices daily).
  • Verify data for third-party vendors, including vendor name, tags, currency, and tax information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Competencies

  • 3+ years’ experience in full cycle accounts payables.
  • Accounting Diploma from a registered Canadian College.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work autonomously and proactively.
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written); French is an asset.
  • Provide exemplary customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (power pivot, advanced formulas) and ERP accounting systems.
  • Ability to manage high volume periods, especially at month-end.
