The Role
The Clinic Director owns the performance and stability of a clinic.
That means :
- Financial outcomes
- Clinical standards
- Administrative alignment
- Team performance
- Culture
You are responsible for how the clinic performs, not just how it feels.
What You OwnClinic Performance
You are accountable for :
UtilizationRebook %PVA (retention & patient visit average)Booked : Prescribed %RevenueTeam retentionYou review data daily weekly, monthly , to address drift early - in order to protect both quality of care and margins.
Administrative Leadership (Collaborative Structure)
Senior Coordinators own daily execution.
You :
Monitor clinic-level trendsIdentify breakdowns quicklyBring issues directly to the SCProvide upward feedback when systems hinder performanceEnsure scheduling strategy supports growthYou don’t step in and run the desk.
You hold leaders accountable to run it well.
Clinical Standards
Lead Therapists & Clinical Development Team drive practitioner development.
You :
Ensure standards are upheld across the clinicAddress performance concerns earlyAct immediately on quality risksProtect documentation and client experienceIgnoring red flags is not acceptable.
Recruitment & Retention
You :
Run working interviewsProtect hiring standardsForecast staffing needs earlyIntervene early when engagement shiftsYou build strong teams.
You do not tolerate cultural erosion.
Lifestyle Therapy
Axis delivers long-term function, not short-term relief.
You ensure :
Clients are educated clearlyLong-term care is recommended ethicallyUnder-serving and over-serving are both correctedTreatment plans reflect progression and ownershipStandards are consistent across the clinic.

You will be expected to show up prepared, contribute meaningfully, and use these forums to drive clarity and alignment.

Requirements
Licensing & Clinical Experience
Active Physiotherapist, Chiropractor, or RMT license in Ontario (in good standing)Minimum 2+ years of independent clinical practiceMinimum 25 clinical treatment hours per weekMaintain a minimum 80% utilization rateLeadership Experience
Minimum 1+ year of leadership experience (formal or informal)Demonstrated experience mentoring or supporting other cliniciansExperience addressing performance issues directly and professionallyOperational & Business Awareness
