The Woodfibre LNG Project is located approximately 7 km west‑southwest of Squamish, British Columbia. It involves the construction and operation of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility on the previous Woodfibre pulp mill site, which would have a storage capacity of 250,000 m³ and would produce approximately 2.1 million tons per year of LNG.

Position

Management System Specialist is an integral part of Woodfibre LNG’s dynamic team. Reporting to the Head of Engineering Support, this role is responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining Woodfibre LNG's integrated management system and ensuring processes are well‑designed, fit‑for‑purpose, and consistently maintained. The position requires strong systems thinking, cross‑functional collaboration, and the ability to translate regulatory and business requirements into effective, right‑sized processes that enable safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, documentation, and rollout of Woodfibre LNG facility's management system ensuring the management system is operational for startup.
• Ensure the management system aligns with regulatory requirements, corporate standards, and industry's best practices.
• Facilitate integration of procedures, standards, and governance processes across disciplines.
• Coordinate periodic reviews, updates, and continuous improvement of management system elements.
• Support end‑users by providing training, guidance, and tools to enable consistent adoption of management system processes.
• Act as a focal point for audits and assurance activities, ensuring evidence of compliance and continual improvement.
• Track and report on management system performance, including system health checks, compliance status, and opportunities for optimization.
• Partner with functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, HSSE, etc.) to ensure processes are practical, efficient, and embedded into day‑to‑day work.
• Drive simplification, clarity, and usability of management system documentation and supporting tools.
