Position Overview

Under the general direction of the Manager Energy Centre and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital the Maintenance Engineer is responsible for : performing preventive and corrective maintenance as per work orders to Hospital equipment and systems; performing the operation and maintenance of building essential services equipment and systems both mechanical and electrical as applicable; functioning as an assistant to the Shift Engineer in the Energy Centre and participating in the operation of high voltage electric and gas / oil fired boilers centrifugal refrigeration compressors and related equipment in accordance with the regulations of the Power Engineers Act; operating the building HVAC automation systems; and performing other related duties as assigned.

Experience

• Three (3) years experience in the operation and maintenance of HVAC Electrical Plumbing and other related equipment and systems.
