The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Job Responsibilities :

The Quality Engineer oversees and coordinates cross-functional teams on multiple / advanced Moulding and Automation Solutions programs to ensure appropriate APQP and Quality-related PDP process steps and proactive quality tools are being properly and thoroughly executed on a timely basis.

• Ensure, with the cooperation of other Co-Ex-Tec departments, Supplier and Group Office that the division achieves and maintains the highest possible Customer rating for satisfaction; strive for zero defects in all areas of the business.
• Manage program quality by establishing back-end quality assurance on existing programs, completing Supplier and Finished Goods sampling and control plan requirements.

Directing the dimensional control of on-going programs; ensuring that all products shipped meet all Customer dimensional, material and systems specifications.

Control plans,

Lead the PPAP (Product Part Approval Process) activities and submit requirements for approval.

Assist in developing GD&T requirements and / or review of GD&T requirements (Finished Goods / Components).
