A Bit About The Role

Imagine Communications is looking for an experienced DevOps Automation Engineer to join its DevOps / Validation team in Toronto, Canada. As the successful candidate, you will work closely with the Development, Validation, DevOps, and Tier-2 Service teams, in a continuous integration and fast-paced environment.

• Please note this position is partially remote due to occasional onsite meetings, on-site validation activities, etc.
• Design, implement, and maintain pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of applications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for system reliability, performance, and security.
• Manage and optimize Docker containers and Docker Swarm for efficient application deployment and scaling.
• Administer and fine-tune PostgreSQL databases, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
• Utilize Ansible to automate configuration management, deployment, and orchestration processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of DevOps processes into production.
• Implement and maintain monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana) to proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks.
• Demonstrate expertise in the configuration and management of open-source tools.
• Work closely with the Development, Tier-2 Service, and / or customer representatives to troubleshoot and resolve customer escalation issues.
• Carry out various training, troubleshooting, and / or validation activities when necessary.
