About The Role

Were hiring a Data Analyst to support our reporting and analytics efforts within HUB International this role you will support multiple departments to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive decision-making for our leaders across the Canadian regions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data but also understands the importance of clear communication strong storytelling and designing visuals that make insights easy to understand. Youll work closely with business leaders technical teams and cross-functional partners to understand business questions analyze datasets and build reports and dashboards that support our strategic initiatives.

What Youll Do

Collect clean and validate data from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy and reliability

Build and maintain dashboards and reports using SQL Power BI and Excel

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions

Present findings in a way that highlights insights trends and business impact

Apply strong data visualization principles to create intuitive user-friendly dashboards

Support data governance documentation and data quality processes

Assist with ad hoc analyses and business requests as needed

What Youll Need for Success

1-2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or related role

Foundational SQL querying skills and understanding of relational databases

Proficiency with Power BI and strong Excel skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiences

Ability to think both analytically and strategically - comfortable digging into details while understanding the broader business context

Curious proactive and eager to learn new tools concepts and industry knowledge

Experience with Python R and / or DAX is an asset

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is $60000 to $70000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience and working location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level.
