The Shop Assistant is located in North York and typically reports directly to the Division Manager. Their primary focus is assisting with shipping, receiving, and deliveries to construction sites under the supervision of the Shipping Coordinator. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Process shipping / receiving in a fast paced environment
  • Conduct material deliveries to various construction sites
  • Maintain a clean site – organized and tidy
  • Ensure work is performed in compliance with company standards
  • Monitor and report on site deliveries, shipping / receiving

    • EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent

    • WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-5 years' experience in a shipping receiving capacity
  • Experience driving for the purpose of delivering goods and materials is an asset

    • SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Organization and time management
  • Willing and able to travel to various construction sites in and around the GTA
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License
  • Clean Driver's Abstract
  • Security clearance requirements per site requirements
