Your goal will be to develop and manage a fit‑for‑purpose program that supports our employees in safely returning to the workplace. - Your Responsibilities :
- Administer the North America workers’ compensation program, ensuring effective governance and compliance
- Guide managers and support injured / ill employees through processes tailored to the jurisdiction of occupational injuries
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (HR, EHS, Benefits, Payroll) and external partners (medical providers, insurers) to coordinate care and claims
- Manage claims strategically to reduce company costs, focusing on early intervention, return‑to‑work planning, and barrier removal
- Collaborate with occupational health teams to recommend alternative work solutions for employees unable to return to pre‑injury roles
- Monitor claim progress and outcomes, develop trend reports, and communicate potential safety risks to stakeholders
- Oversee financial allocations, managing monthly breakdowns of workers’ compensation costs across divisions
- Collaborate on the resolution of complex US claims, pursue third‑party recoveries, leverage state funds, participate in appeals, and coach managers on resolution plans
- Educate and develop managers and HR partners on workers’ compensation processes, co‑lead policy negotiations with brokers, maintain external stakeholder relationships, and ensure compliance with evolving legislation

- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage complex cases

- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities
- Your Experience :
- Post secondary education in a related field is required. Certification in Disability Management would be considered an asset
- Candidates must have demonstrated experience working in an employer setting, along with a minimum of 3 years of case management experience
- Workers' compensation experience in Canada
- U.S. workers' compensation and case management experience is considered an asset
