D.M. Wills Associates Limited is in search of an Inspector (Structural) in the Construction Administration and Inspection Services Department.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide on-site inspection of construction work related to structural municipal infrastructure and subdivision projects.
• Liaise and coordinate with the client public agencies Designer and Contractor.
• Document the progress of construction work.
• Gather pertinent information as per project documents.
• Review and understand contract documents including project drawings specifications and standards.
• Track quantities for payment purposes.
• Provide information to the Project Manager / Contract Administrator for invoicing / project tracking purposes.
• Perform survey work on construction sites and roadways.
• Calculate quantity take-offs for tenders.
• Maintain detailed daily diary / records of all construction site activities by completing Site Visit Reports (SVRs).
• Import fieldwork to AutoCAD and create base plan for design.
• Create and / or revise AutoCAD 3D municipal drawings from base plan and / or from as-built information.
• Ensure that timelines are met for all key deliverables.
