Qualifications

  • Class AZ / DZ Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Experience working in a construction environment and / or on a paving crew
  • Mechanically inclined

Responsibilities

  • Control levers to spread and level hot asphalt mix to precise grade, depth, and slope.
  • Make real-time adjustments to screed settings (like extensions, augers) for material consistency and surface finish.
  • Communicate with the paver operator and crew foreman
  • Perform daily checks, lubrication, and minor adjustments on the screed and paver.
  • Ensure finished mat meets project specifications for smoothness and thickness.
  • Applicants need to be a member and in good standing with Liuna 183.

    Compensation

    $38.08 per hour
