Carpenter Apprentice – Lower Mainland, BC

Position : Carpenter Apprentice – Lower Mainland, BC – Future Opportunity at Jardeg.

Project type : Infrastructure / Buildings.

Location : Lower Mainland, BC (Local Only).

Rate : $27.45 to $41.17 per hour.

Schedule : Monday to Friday, overtime as per site needs. 5 and 2 schedule with possibility of working afternoons, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Build forms for concrete.
• Cut, shape, and join wood.
• Look for and fix deficiencies.
• Build hoarding and other temporary structures.
• Check accuracy of work and make adjustments as required.
• Study blueprints for work planning.
• Construct and form chutes for pouring concrete.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
• Inform immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and take appropriate measures.
• General site upkeep.
