Veterinary assistant

High River veterinary Clinic is looking to hire a veterinary Clinic assistant.

The position will include assisting with animal care and some reception duties. Experience is an asset but we are willing to train. The role will include cleaning as well as lifting patients and supplies weighing 30kg. This is potentially a full time ( 35+ hrs / week) position for the next 18months (mat leave), with possibility of extension. Individuals must be willing to work some evening and Saturday shifts. There may be occasional shifts at our associated veterinary clinic in Vulcan.

You will join a great team of 3 DVM’s , 2 RVT’s and 3 support staff

Salary – $16-$18 / hour
