Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, fabricators, suppliers, and clients to solve complex engineering problems and bring innovative solutions to life.Lead projects from start to finish, taking charge of planning and coordinating the technical aspects of motion‑control projects.Dive into structural dynamics : engage with wind tunnel data, perform spectral and time‑domain analysis, and apply programming and data analytics to uncover insights; occasionally conduct onsite measurements.Build meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues, becoming a trusted advisor who can influence and inspire.Utilize creativity, communication, and critical thinking skills to drive projects forward and achieve outstanding results.Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Advanced civil or mechanical engineering degree(s) including vibration and structural dynamics.Minimum two years of applied experience in real‑world engineering.Experience with performance‑based design from wind and / or seismic, or similar, is an asset.Ability to quickly interpret structural models and drawings.Familiarity with supplemental damping systems such as tuned mass dampers, water‑based dampers, and distributed damping is an asset.Proven ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Valid driver’s license and passport; ability to travel internationally on short notice.Existing or eligible for registration with the Professional Engineers – Ontario (P.Eng.). Professional Engineering status in other jurisdictions is a bonus.Benefits
