We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated and multi‑disciplined Visual Designer who is inspired by our cause and wants to use their unique set of skills in an exciting and challenging role in a fast‑paced environment. Ideally, you are experienced in both digital and print, but we are open to designers that are stronger in one discipline as long as they have a strong fundamental in both and are willing to train up in the other.
As a member of the Brand Creative team, you will be responsible for developing creative for print and digital projects according to time, budgetary and creative brief requirements. As the Visual Designer, you strive to achieve all project objectives and the highest quality of work that reflects our organization’s brand guidelines. You will also be a brand champion responsible for advocating for and ensuring design requirements are met in a positive environment that fosters continual improvement.

As an experienced Visual Designer, you have five years of experience in a fast‑paced agency, in‑house graphic design studio, or full‑time freelancer and a degree or diploma in graphic design (or a combination of the equivalent level of education and experience). You bring current and trending knowledge of new technologies and industry best practices, and are an independent, proactive and creative problem‑solver that adapts well to new ideas and change. You thrive in dynamic and collaborative work environments and are a team player at heart.

This is a full‑time contract opportunity to cover a maternity leave until April 2027.

The hiring range for this position is between $73,000 and $81,000. At BCCHF, we are committed to ensuring that compensation is fair and equitable. Your placement in the salary range will be determined by your experience, relevant skills, and qualifications as they relate to this role.
Please note that all team members of BCCHF are required to complete a vulnerable sector criminal record check as a condition of employment.
