PH Work Package Planner-Kiewit Nuclear Canada

Position Overview

As a Work Package Planner, you will get the opportunity to work closely with operations staff and schedulers to ensure that project needs are accounted for, including requirements for engineering / design completion, operations planning and material logistics. You will be responsible to ensure that key various milestones and project deliverables represented realistically in the project schedule and plan. Provide updates to key project team members on the progress of project progression.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, designers, procurement staff, construction managers, sub-contractors to provide detailed planning from conceptual planning through construction completion
• Apply vast knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction terminology and concepts to develop and maintain critic path logic networks; accumulate and access historical data for use in maintaining realistic future planning and forecasting
• Assess the impact of design changes and schedule slippages and inform company management and clients
• Lead development of resource loaded schedules, including lists of activities, major milestones, critical approvals, long lead procurement items and other critical project deliverables to be scheduled and tracked for the projects
• Ability to visualize the project plan and represent it in using schedule logic and constraints, realistic activity durations and available manpower and resources
• May interface with clients, attend regular meetings and statistical reports
