We are seeking a Senior Process Analyst to join the Personal Insurance Business Process Engineering & Operations Group. The ideal candidate is a business process expert with Lean Six Sigma capabilities, advanced BPMN process mapping skills, change enablement expertise, and consulting experience.
This role will focus on optimizing insurance processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring standardization across underwriting, claims, policy servicing, and billing workflows. The Senior Process Analyst will collaborate with key business stakeholders to align process improvements with technology, compliance, and customer experience objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end business process analysis and documentation using BPMN Level 5 standards.
Map and optimize underwriting, policy servicing, claims, and billing processes for efficiency and automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement standardized, scalable business processes.
Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), process audits, and workflow assessments to identify areas for improvement.
Define and track KPIs, process performance metrics, and operational benchmarks.
Partner with Technology Solutions and business stakeholders to drive automation, RPA, and digital transformation initiatives.
Must have a solid understanding of IT systems, software development, and databases. This technical knowledge allows them to communicate effectively with developers and understand the constraints of different technologies.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights on process reengineering and optimization.
Lead workshops, process discovery sessions, and training to ensure business adoption of process changes.
Develop and maintain process documentation, playbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Support change management initiatives by identifying risks, dependencies, and communication strategies.
Work with technology teams to align business processes with insurance system capabilities.
Define business requirements for enhancements, automation, and system configurations in insurance systems.
Provide expertise in business testing, UAT, and regression coverage to validate system changes.
Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and corporate governance policies.
