Financial Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. In this contract position, you will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting budgeting processes. Responsibilities :

• Assist the Finance Manager in configuring and implementing budget management tools to optimize financial processes.
• Organize, validate, and transfer large sets of historical and current financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct thorough financial analyses to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
• Address system and reporting issues, proposing effective solutions to enhance financial operations.
• Participate in system testing, troubleshoot technical challenges, and verify results for reliability.
• Compile, consolidate, and review quarterly budget reports, ensuring all data is precise and comprehensive.
• Develop clear documentation of financial processes while contributing to the creation of standardized templates and controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment on financial objectives.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including expertise in formulas, data validation, and pivot tables.
• Hands-on experience with budgeting systems and financial applications.
• Proven ability to independently analyze datasets and resolve financial issues.
• Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
• Effective communication abilities to engage with stakeholders and build trust across various levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and teamwork.
• Knowledge of budgeting processes, reporting, and financial analysis methodologies.
