We are seeking a Manufacturing Lead to join our team on-site in Waterloo this role youll be responsible for ensuring the manufacturability scalability and reliability of complex systems that integrate electronics (FPGA & Analog / RF) optoelectronics (lasers photodetectors) and optical components (fiber optics). This role requires hands-on experience with mid-volume (1000s) manufacturing and collaboration with cross-functional teams consisting of R&D scientists and engineers suppliers and contract manufacturers.

What youll do

• Lead Design-for-Manufacturability (DFM) efforts for enterprise-class products.
• Work closely with R&D and production teams to optimize electronics optoelectronics and optical systems for manufacturing.
• Develop and implement cost-reduction and reliability improvement strategies.
• Manage relationships with OEMs ODMs and manufacturing partners to streamline production.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (Mil-Std-Class desirable).
• Collaborate on supply chain management to optimize component sourcing and logistics.
• Work with R&D and production teams to maintain quality control
